Howdy folks,
I would have posted sooner, but it seems that I am spending at least 75% of my day in the bathroom. Thank the Good Lord that my office is right next to the loo, because I go a minimum of 20 times during the work day. That is no joke! For the first time today, I could feel the baby doing serious tap dancing on my bladder. Joy of all joys! Anyway, feel privileged that the two minutes I have at my desk are spent with you, dear reader. Add this to my list of things I like: 2 hours potty free

Two for Tuesdays
Yesterday was full of gripes, so I figured I need to balance it out with gratitude. Here are two things I am grateful for today:
1) Raspberry fritter
2) Hearing my baby's heartbeat- nice and strong!
That isn't part of my ongoing list, but I figured that they were worthy of mentioning. Here are some more feel good things:
-Vin Diesel is going to be back on the big screen. Thank God. I thought he'd lost it after doing Baby Daddy or whatever it was called.
-Dressing McKenna in funky outfits that drive Daddy crazy.
-Greek olives.
-Cheese.
-Doggie snuggles.
-Hawaiian sunsets.
-Thunderstorms over the Wyoming mountains.

It is Monday!
I am not letting Monday ruin my list. So, I am just not going to continue the "list" today. See, the list is about things I love, and Mondays are just not one of them. Especially this Monday! It seems like everyone is in a bad mood at work, and every mistake I could have made I did make. Oh well! One thing I used to love when I was in school or not working was that Sundays didn't feel nearly as snarky with Monday looming around the corner! I look forward to thinking that someday again :-) Now, I just have to win the lottery.

Yet more to my list~
I know you're all waiting on the edge of your seats, so here we go. A continuation of the things I love:
1)My family, they are the best.
2)My friends, the few of them might as well be family!
3)Reminiscing over photos, I tend to wax on about times past.
4)Sleeping through the night.
5)The thought that laundry may magically do itself.
6)ALL things southern. I am dixie at heart.
7)The Shack- I am truly learning more about the Lord.
8)Accessories. Need I say more?
9)Good hair days.
10)Travel magazines. I could travel for a living. With 2 kids. Seriously.

What do I say?
I don't ever feel like I have anything important to say. So, I figured what I can do is make a list. A list of things I like, especially! So, to drag this out a while, I will start my list small.
Things I like:
Drive-in theaters
Route 66
Frosting
Comfy recliner
Good mystery
Open windows with heat on high

Dream
Whispers of Dreams
Dreamt long ago
Fly by in the night
A chilly white wind
Gives them startled flight
Over barren fields
Frozen dirt where golden
Stalks once stood
Past rushing waters
Six months before held
Calm bubbling brook
Through partial open doors
A barn that once was
Red
Only now it bears witness
To years past, neglected; sad
Through broken window pane
Lifting higher, higher
Snaking up rough old bark
Winding over evergreen
Back and forth
As if the needle were a violin
The dreams a bow
What is their "purpose"
Where shall they go?
Their sad song
Abandons forest, again taking flight
The pace quickens
Becomes panicked, searching
Are they to be lost for Good
Peeking in a candle-lit window
Struggling
Urgently to wonder
If merit they held
Would hope beckon them
Home where they would take
Hold
Or would they march
Sullen and silent
Into frost tipped grass
Interrupted by gray slabs
With numbers, years
And dreams they once
Had
